Woodsy Wednesday

Fall is in full swing here in Tennesse and the colors are absolutely gorgeous.  I’m planning to go on a hike this weekend with the Mr. and the girls and take it all in.

I thought I’d share a few pictures from one of our hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains last fall.

This is the view on the way up to Spruce Flats Falls, just 1/2 mile from Tremont.

Mr. Snail out for a moring stroll/slither/whatever it is they do.  Isn’t his shell beautiful?

Snapped this beauty at the campground we stayed at, the KOA in Townsend, TN.

I love the muted grayish colors of the lichen contrasted against the bright greens of the moss.  Beauty in nature at it’s finest.

I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy the colors of the season before they’re gone, even if it’s just a drive through the park.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great week!

XOXOX,

Angie
