What summertime looks like to me

Hello, friends! I hope everyone is having a great day.

We’re traveling today, but I thought I’d share some images of summertime with you.  I snapped these a couple of weeks ago at my parents’ lake house.  We usually spend the 4th down there, but our travel plans didn’t allow us to this year.

I posted this pic of the neighbors chairs on facebook a couple of weeks ago.  The lake waters were way up due to some recent heavy rains.  I took the picture early in the morning and there was a light fog the made it appear like it was blurry.  Notice the lone fisherman in the top right.

Another early morning shot of the sun rising up into the southern sky.  I love the long shadows it cast on the dock.

The daisies were heavy with dew in this shot.  These are my 16-year-old’s favorite flowers.

And my faves, hydrangeas.  This bush is HUGE!  Probably 6 feet across and 4 1/2 feet tall.  But I always love getting close up shots of the dew covered beauties.

Sometimes there’s not a lot to do at the lake and we get out the vintage bingo game.  The kids actually love it.  We play for pennies.

Have a great weekend.  Thanks for stopping by!

XOXOX,

Angie
