What color is Stratton Blue HC-142

Stratton Blue is a classic turquoise that’s not overwhelming like some beachy turquoises. It’s from the Benjamin Moore Historical Collection, which is made up of colors that are timeless and work well in any era.

What are the undertones of Stratton Blue?

You’ll see undertones of blue, green, and gray in this energetic but not-too-bold color.

What colors coordinate with Stratton Blue?

It would go great with cream, orange, cranberry, or yellow-greens as contrasting colors. For a more muted palette, use gray-blues, greiges, and cool whites.

Rooms painted with Stratton Blue

Let’s see how this paint color looks on the walls in some real home.

Stratton Blue Office

This office is calm and peaceful, but not boring.  The Stratton Blue looks nice with the linen covered chairs.  And the sisal rug adds a warm touch of texture to the space.

Stratton Blue Bedroom

Although this space is a little formal for my taste, it is truly stunning.  The Stratton Blue walls are the perfect backdrop for the rich wood and the gold fabrics in the room.

There’s not anything that I don’t like about this office space…except that it isn’t in my house!  The desk, rug, chair, light, and even the wall color are perfect.

Ready to test it and see how it looks is your home? My favorite ways of sampling paint colors are with the little sample paint pots and the peel and stick paint samples.

What’s your opinion of this color?  Where would you use it in your home or office?

Thanks so much for dropping by my little space on the world wide web!

    1. It's on the same color strip as Wythe Blue, but it's one shade darker. It's a really pretty shade!

    2. I’m getting ready to paint my front
door in this colour. I had originally
chosen a green but didn’t like it. Our
sample of Stratton looks perfect. Now
we just have to find the time to paint

  2. D you know the brand & style name of the bedding in this post? My furniture is the same style & I painted my BR this color. I’m looking for new bedding. Thank you…
