Our old faucet was leaking and was quite plain. The folks at National Builder Supply and Moen sent me a new one and it turned out so nice! Part of me has wanted to redo things in our kitchen since we moved in 8 years ago, including the counter tops and sink. And I've considered painting the cabinets, but just this simple upgrade has made me like my kitchen much more. Who would have thought?
Here's what it looked like before. Not terrible, just builder grade and plain (and leaky). The new faucet gave it more of an upscale look, don't you think?
What's MotionSense? It's a hands-free faucet that has 2 sensors that turn on the faucet. All you have to do is wave your hand in front of one of them. The sensor on the base of the faucet turns the water on for just a few seconds. It's good to use if you just need to give something a quick rinse or dampen a cloth.
The sensor one on the top of the faucet turns the water on for a couple of minutes and automatically turns off if you don't wave your hand over it. The sensors are battery operated and are very easy to change out when the time comes.
You can go here to see a video of the faucet in motion. It really does work just like the video. I promise!
And it comes in some beautiful designs and finishes. Go here to see the options.
