Christmas Family Room Mantel with At Home Stores

/

This post brought to you by At Home. The content and opinions expressed below are that of Postcards from the Ridge.

What’s your style when it comes to decorating for Christmas? There are so many possibilities that’s it’s tough to decide which direction to go. I tend to gravitate towards vintage, farmhouse, and rustic styles at our house and this year’s family room mantel is no exception.

I used At Home Christmas Decor on this project and was thrilled with all that they had to offer in their store. They have lots of different themes that make it easy to decorate with your favorite style or mix several of them together, like I did.

They have 101 varieties of Christmas Trees spread out over an acre inside the store. That’s no joke! Whatever your style, you can find it there. The Tree for Me was a 4 ft. Pre-Lit Burlap Potted Tree. It was on display on an end cap and was super easy to find on the shelf. All of the Christmas Trees in the store are in color coded, numbered boxes close to where they are found on display.

I placed ours in front of the family room mantel. It fits perfectly in my vintage copper boiler and goes great with our farmhouse style. It’s prelit (woohoo!) and has some pine cones and berries attached to it, but I added some plaid ribbon and woodsy ornaments to it. The plaid fabric-lined baskets are perfect for holding presents and faux birch logs.

Here’s a small glimpse of the store. Each theme is displayed together in the same aisle for the easiest decorating decisions ever. Just look at that selection! With all of these Christmas Trees, themes, and anything else you could ever want to decorate with, At Home is your one-stop shop for all of your holiday decor. And with their everyday low prices you don’t even have to worry whether or not you’re getting a great deal!

Their Holiday themes include:

  • Seas & Greetings
  • Holiday Hoedown
  • Lavish and Luxe
  • Peppermint Jazz
  • Berry Platinum
  • Forest Fairy Tales
  • Crystal Chateau
  • Cherished Memories
  • Heaven and Earth
  • Midnight Plume
  • Regal Renaissance
  • Snowcapped Scene
  • Handcrafted from Around the World
  • Denim Darlings
  • Handcrafted

I used items from the Holiday Hoedown, Forest Fairytales, and Denim Darlings collections. I love the mix of plaid accents with the woodsy and farmhouse elements. It’s so cozy!

The little bird’s nest and cardinals are so sweet. We had cardinals on our tree when I was growing up that looked a lot like these so they really take me down memory lane.

These wooden “Peace” and “Noel” signs flank the edges of the mantel. Their rustic style perfectly complements the old books and other vintage items from our collection.

This rusty bell is actually an ornament but I used it as part of our mantel decor. Isn’t it adorable?

They have dozens of wreaths of every style. I chose a natural looking wreath and hung it on top of our vintage tobacco basket. It looks so realistic!

It has natural looking berries and a variety of leaves. They look just as good up close as they do from a distance, don’t you think?

It all makes me want to put on my plaid flannel and boots and sip on some hot cocoa!
