Simple Thanksgiving Tablescape Using Natural Items
With Thanksgiving less than two weeks away it’s time to start planning the table settings and centerpieces. We’re hosting at our house this year and will have about 20 family members. It’ll be a full house with enough food for an army!

We’ll have tables set up in a couple of areas and today I’m showing what our small breakfast room table will look like.
Some vintage silverware and vintage linen napkins top off our Friendly Village dishes.
For the centerpiece I placed some small white pumpkins on top of a grapevine wreath. I filled in the empty spaces with acorns, pine cones, and dried hydrangeas.
The white charger plates lighten the look of the table setting.
I just refinished the table a couple of weeks ago. It was your typical 80’s oak table and was in desperate need of a facelift. And we replaced our old chairs with these new sturdier, up-to-date ones from World Market.
A simple gray ribbon keeps the vintage silverware together.
The centerpiece was something I put together on a whim but I really do like it.
Even if it does look like an odd birds nest!
Are you hosting Thanksgiving or any dinners at your home this year? What preparations are you making?

Beautiful table, Angie! I love your dishes and especially love the way you tied the silverware together with a ribbon. It looks so nice!
I'm taking a similar table to the lake that my grandfather bought for me for my college apartment. It's stained oak. Will you be sharing the details on how you painted your table? I know mine needs a makeover!
Thanks Paula! Yes, I'll be sharing what I did to the table in the next couple of weeks. It took longer than I had anticipated (story of my life) but it looks 100% better!
20 people, you'll be very busy but I'm sure it will be a blast. Love the table, very pretty.
Cindy
I'll be busy but it will be so nice having everyone together. Thanks for dropping by!
Your tablescape is perfection! Love the dishes, silver, and charger and the centerpiece is brilliant!
Thank you so much! We must like the same things!
