Warm thoughts from the coast.

Some school
systems are on Spring break this week, but ours was out 2 weeks ago.  It
wouldn’t be a great week for the break here because it’s snowing.  On
March 25th.  In the south.  What the….?

For
that reason (the snow) I’m posting pictures that bring warm, happy
thoughts!  We took a short trip to the South Carolina coast over the
break and I snapped a few photos while we were there.  A few hundred
actually, but these are the best ones from the digital darkroom.

Enjoy, and think warm, happy, Spring thoughts!

Sunday morning sunrise.  I love the silhouette of the trees against the sunrise.

The reflection from the sun gives the prettiest pink cast on the sand ripples on the beach.

Aren’t you glad you don’t have to take your house with you when you want to go somewhere like the creature that lives in this shell does?  He’s leaving a trail behind him.

Another shot of the Sunday morning sunrise.

The girls.  In black and white.  Because it always looks more artistic that way.  Lol.

This poser landed almost right next to us on the bridge we were parked at.  Such a showoff.

More artsy black and white.

These two were coming in for a landing at sunset.

Fabulous sunset on Saturday night in Kiawah Island.

The same sunset.  It looks like the sky is on fire.

Hopefully these will warm you up just a bit and we can all make it until Spring arrives to stay.  I’m so ready.  How about you?
