Bella Rustica Road Trip

Hello, friends! Two weekends ago I headed a couple of hours west and attended Bella Rustica, a pop-up event where all kinds of cool vintage items were for sale.  I bought a few things for myself, but saw so many great creations.  I thought it would be fun to share some of what I saw.

This greeted us as we entered the outside booths.  They won 1st place for best booth, and it was well deserved honor.

I love the vintage plaid picnic and camping items at this booth.  I’ve got a few of those plaid thermos bottles myself.  I guess it’s time to make a fun display with them in the shop now that it’s fall.

Nothing says vintage like a rusty old tricycle!

The event was held on the grounds of an old farmhouse called Legacy Farms.  The outside of the house is unchanged, but the inside has been updated a bit and is used for weddings and other events.

The vintage vibe continued with this cool vintage car.  It was riding low and was very hip indeed.

If my 17-year-old daughter had been with me, she would have wanted to bring this beauty home.  Isn’t it gorgeous!

Swooning over all the vintage ironstone here.  I love the way they had it displayed.

I’m not sure why, but I’ve been having a love affair with letters recently.  This booth had every kind imaginable.  I didn’t buy any but wish I would have.

Rusty metal goodness in the version of signs.  Love!

I’ll be Thelma, who wants to be Louise?  All we need is an old red convertible!

Old chippy iron stars and medallions.  I’m pretty sure these are authentic earthquake bolts.

As we exited, this was our greeting.  Don’t you just love the South?

What do you think?  Was it worth the trip?  And do you have a favorite item or idea from these pics?  I know I do.  Let me know which one you liked best!

Thanks for travelling with me!

And be sure to check back in a couple of days when I’ll reveal some of my fall decorations, including our living room mantel with three different versions.  Here’s a sneak peek of what I call the traditional version.

There’s also a vintage version and another really fun one that I don’t want to reveal quite yet because it’s like nothing you’ve ever seen.  You’ll just have to check back!  But I know you’ll love it.

XOXOX,

Angie

  1. Now that's my kind of place! Looks like so much fun. Where is this picker's paradise? Thanks for sharing!

    1. Hi Laurie! It's definitely a picker's paradise! This year's event was in Lebanon, TN. It's usually somewhere in middle Tennessee. If you're within a couple of hours, it's worth the trip!
