Milk Glass and Mini Boxwood Wreaths for Valentine’s Day

Pretty milk glass vases with carnations. So simple but so pretty. - Postcards from the Ridge

We’ve had such a beautiful weekend here. It really makes me want spring to get here quickly! It inspired me to pick up some flowers from the grocery store and pop them into my milk glass vases. Which inspired me to put out a few little valentine’s decorations. I’m sharing mostly pictures today because the flowers are so pretty that a wordy post isn’t necessary. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!

Vintage themed red and white place setting. Love the vintage silver and velvet ribbon.

Just a few simple valentine’s decorations are all I ever do. The thought of getting them out and putting them all away this soon after all the Christmas decorating makes me shudder. I’m kinda lazy like that.

I got fancy with this one and took out most of the color. I’m a photography nerd, what can I say?

  1. The milk glass vases really show off the flowers. I like your French hearts as well. I didn't see a source for them. Did you make them?

    1. Thanks! I've had the hearts for a few years and honestly don't remember where I got them. Probably at Hobby Lobby or Michaels or HomeGoods. Sorry! They wouldn't be too hard to make.
