Spring Table Decorating Ideas

Thank goodness spring is near! I definitely have spring fever and have added some simple table decor to our living room table. I’m sharing it today as part of the February pinterest challenge, hosted by my friend Cindy at County Road 407. All of our versions are at the bottom of the post, so please visit everyone to see what they did. If you’re coming over from Amber at Follow the Yellow Brick Home, welcome! She always has the prettiest decorating ideas!

Each month, we find a photo on pinterest that inspires us and we recreate the look in our own home. We give it our own spin while still staying true to the basic idea in the image.

This month’s inspiration is from Amanda at Sincerely, Marie Designs. I adore her style and have for several years. It’s cozy and classic, while also fresh and clean. Her styled console table is the focus of this month’s challenge.

Here are the main takeaways from her decor:

  • Design books
  • Baskets and woven texture
  • Ironstone
  • Thrift store items
  • Varying heights
  • Greenery

Here’s my version of it.

I only used things I already had in the house since I’m not adding to my collections at this time. For the woven texture, I used a vintage wicker demijohn and added some faux pink peonies from my shop for my version of the greenery. I placed it and a little ceramic bird on a vintage ironstone platter.

I have lots of decorating books and made a few stacks of those to replicate what Amanda had done on her table. I don’t have any busts or statues, but my vintage white ironstone coffee pot has a similar shape and color. And my little vintage brass bunny is similar to her brass quails.

Another stack of spring colored books and a vintage ironstone platter continues the theme. My vintage plant mister and a few robin’s eggs in a vintage ironstone sugar bowl finish the scene.

Amanda’s table is so pretty and I really enjoyed creating a similar look with my things. You could do it to with a little effort a few thrifted and vintage pieces.

Next up is Marty at A Stroll Thru Life. She has such a classic style and I’m sure you’ll love visiting her!

I'd love it if you want to share at my Sundays on Silverado Link Party, too, which is open now. 🌷
