A little about me, I have over 30 years experience in the home decor industry selling directly to homeowners, contractors, and designers. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in business marketing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I owned my own paint and decorating shop in Nashville from 1993 until 2005 and have a very thorough understanding of how to work with both vendors and consumers. I've been married for 24 years to my college sweetheart and we have 2 wonderful teenage daughters and one cute cat.

I began blogging in 2011 as a way to share tips on painting and home decor as well as the progress of updates to our 1960's home. In addition to operating all aspects of Postcards from the Ridge and doing online color consulting, I currently do in-home color and design consulting on an hourly basis.

Please email me at to inquire about establishing a partnership.
